The Honourable Justice Croft again opened our legal year on Monday 12 January 2015.

The The Parish of Christ Church Anglican Geelong on the corner of Moorabool and McKillop Streets in Geelong held the Service followed by the Ceremonial Opening at the Magistrates' Court of Victoria at Geelong. As usual a morning tea followed in the Jury Pool Room. The Reverend Russell Trickey prepared a fitting service and ensured that a number of clergy from different denominations were present. The association made a donation to Reverend Trickey in thanks for his support and to assist his church in the valuable work they do in our community.

The Honourable Justice Osborne of the Court of Appeal represented the Chief Justice and His Honour Judge Mullaly was also in attendance. Chief Magistrate Lauritsen also attended along with local members of Parliament.

Thank you to all who attended and make it a very special event.
